The Lake of the Ozarks is absolutely beautiful during the Fall season. While summer is generally the highlight of the Lake area, you will find that there are many gems hidden here during Fall. From outdoor activities and fun views - here are our favorite reasons to plan a fall vacation at the Lake!

Hunting

Two of the most popular species for hunting at the Lake are deer and turkey. We have a growing population of both, and they thrive in our wooded areas and farmland. A booming population of deer boasts of many trophy-size bucks. The woods are also loaded with gray and fox squirrels for hunters who enjoy tracking the small game. Fishing

7 Fun Fourth of July Facts for the Whole Family!

Happy Fourth of July from Vacation Rentals at the Lake of the Ozarks! We are so excited to have a full house at the best condos at the Lake of the Ozarks. There are so many fun things happening this weekend and if you're vacationing with us we are so excited to have you! Here are 7 fun facts about the Fourth of July to start the weekend off.

1. On the 4th of July, 1776, the Declaration of Independence was approved by the Continental congress.

2. The Declaration of Independence was signed by 56 men representing the 13 colonies. The moment the declaration was signed it marked the beginning of all-out war against the British.

3. Independence Day honors the birthday of the United States of America and the adoption of the Declaration of Independence.

4. Over an estimated 150 million hot dogs are consumed in the United States each Independence Day.

5. The 13 stars on the American flag were arranged in a circle originally to represent equality between the original thirteen colonies. There were several versions of the early flag, including one with the stars arranged in vertical lines. The "Betsy Ross Flag," which depicts the stars, in a circle was the most popular.

6. Benjamin Franklin supposedly wanted the wild turkey to be the national bird, but was outvoted by both John Adams and Thomas Jefferson, who chose the bald eagle. The bird of prey native only to North America became the official bird of the United States of America.

7. Ironically, though the United States was born on July Fourth, Thomas Jefferson and John Adams both died on July 4th, 1826.

About our Vacation Rentals

Our condos are specifically designed to make your vacation the best it can be! We take pride in our homes, their upkeep and the surrounding grounds that you can enjoy. Our Condos

Between Southwood Shores and Lands' End, we have some beautiful condos with one, two and three bedrooms. Our condos are fully furnished including cable TV/DVD, refrigerator, microwave, range, and all necessary kitchen supplies. Most of our condos are furnished with sofa-sleepers for your convenience. All linens (bed, bath and kitchen) are provided. A coin operated laundry room is available, though most condos are furnished with washers & dryers for your convenience. Most of our units have a private deck with an outstanding view of the Lake of the Ozarks. Patio furniture and gas grill are also supplied for your use. WiFi is available in the Clubhouse and Indoor Pool/Sundeck area.

Lands' End

The Land's End property is a 15-acre exclusive planned condominium resort in the heart of Osage
Beach. With a half mile of shoreline and a breathtaking panoramic waterfront view you can be sure to find a beautiful, serene vacation. There is elevator access to all units, and an abundance of recreation for your family to enjoy. Including two beautiful outdoor pools with spacious pool decks for sunning and relaxing, a Lazy River Water Park, playground, basketball court, pavilions, outdoor cooking centers and more. Along with a 1200 square foot State of the art fitness center with free weights, cardio, life fitness and hammer strength equipment. An elegant 5000 square foot community clubhouse is open daily and available exclusively to Lands' End Property Owners for private functions.

Southwood Shores

Our Southwood Shores resort offers many amenities including a beautiful outdoor pool overlooking the lake with a sundeck and swim deck. We have a heated indoor pool with hot tubs for those days when the weather isn't ideal. Our tennis courts, picnic area and playground are a wonderful way to enjoy some of your vacation on campus with us! Our boat dock is lit and covered with a fishing and cleaning station, boat ramp and boat/trail storage. There are nearby jogging trails & championship golf courses. We are ideally located on a gently sloping ground, with 2200 feet of shoreline fronted by a lighted seawall - basically, the view is nothing short of fantastic! Tranquility is yours as you enjoy the sunset from the spacious deck at the waters edge.
